Should a closing attorney be used?

been away from the forum a while. wanna start into subject 2. i live in georgia. should a closing attorney be used in these type of deals?

While it is not a requirement, I do recommend the use of a closing attorney primarily as a CYA measure.

That said, I have bought many, many houses by bringing along a notary to witness/notarize the docs with no attorney present.
